Dr. Anjali Mange

General Dentist

Dr. Anjali Mange earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2015. She later completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) certification.

With a strong interest in family, preventive, and pediatric dentistry, Dr. Mange is dedicated to helping patients of all ages achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. She finds great fulfillment in educating families about preventive care and empowering them to take an active role in their oral health.

Dr. Mange is a proud member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Dental Association, and the Ontario Dental Association.

Outside the practice, she enjoys travelling, reading, swimming, and spending quality time with her family. Passionate about giving back to the community, she also supports Smile Train, local food banks, and community dental outreach programs.

Dr. Rachel Sinclair

General Dentist

Dr. Rachel Sinclair completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queen’s University in 2011 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University College Cork, Ireland, in 2018. She subsequently spent three years practicing dentistry in London, England, before returning to Canada.
Dr. Sinclair specializes in general dentistry and is Invisalign Fundamentals Certified at the Silver tier. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Toronto Central Dental Society.
She enjoys supporting patients in achieving their oral health goals and values the opportunity to work with individuals to help them feel comfortable during their dental care.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Sinclair enjoys travel, running, skiing, and water sports. She has participated in several dental outreach trips in Central America and has taken part in the Sporting Life 10K in support of Campfire Circle for more than 20 years.

Dr. Barbad Zamiri

General Dentist – Oral Surgery

Dr. Barbad Zamiri completed his general dentistry degree at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Iran, in 1989. He then pursued training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the National Iranian University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, graduating in 1996.

In Iran, Dr. Zamiri practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Since relocating to Canada, he has focused on general dentistry with an emphasis on oral surgery-related procedures.

Dr. Zamiri is a member of several professional associations, including the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Iranian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Outside of practice, he enjoys staying active through biking and supports charitable organizations in his home country.

Dr. Fernanda Barona

Periodontist

Dr. Fernanda Barona is a periodontist with a focus on treating periodontal and implant-related conditions. She earned her dental degree in 2012 from the Catholic University of Guayaquil in Ecuador and completed her Master’s in Craniofacial Science along with postgraduate specialty training in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia in 2017.

She is a fellow-elect of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology. Her research has focused on the use of leukocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin in periodontal procedures and in implant and gingival reconstructions.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Barona enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and participating in outdoor activities such as skiing. She is also a foodie and coffee enthusiast. Dr. Barona speaks English and Spanish.

Dr. Waseem Kassas

General Dentist

Dr. Waseem Kassas is Canadian-certified in Orthodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. After earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Dr. Kassas completed his specialty training, along with a Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, at the University of Buffalo in the USA.

Following graduation, Dr. Kassas worked as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Kassas became a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) in 2016. He has 15 years of experience in treating orthodontic cases using both braces and clear aligners.

Outside the office, Dr. Kassas enjoys outdoor activities and travelling with his wife, who is also a dentist, and their three lovely children.

Dr. Pavel Cherkas

Endodontist

Dr. Pavel Cherkas graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, where he also earned M.Med.Sc. and PhD degrees in Neuroscience. Dr. Cherkas completed his M.Sc. in Endodontics at the University of Toronto and the Royal College Fellowship Examinations.

Dr. Cherkas is an Assistant Professor of Oral Physiology and Endodontics at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, focusing on the fields of endodontics, neurophysiology, and orofacial pain. He has conducted research at institutions including Cambridge (UK), Leipzig (Germany), and Tokyo (Japan), and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, a textbook chapter, a clinical guideline, and numerous research abstracts.

He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Canadian Academy of Endodontics, and the Ontario Society of Endodontists. Dr. Cherkas has also served on editorial boards of the Journal of Endodontics, Journal of Chemical Neuroanatomy, and Journal of Orofacial Pain, and he participates as a reviewer and associate member of the Faculty of 1000 Medicine. He has presented lectures nationally and internationally and has contributed as a Resident Member on the Regenerative Endodontics Committee of the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Debjani Banerjee

General Dentist

Dr. Debjani Banerjee earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 1994 and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo.

She practices general dentistry and enjoys providing care that helps patients feel comfortable. Her clinical interests include cosmetic-focused dental care.

Dr. Banerjee is a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club (TCBSC), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). She is also Invisalign Fundamentals Certified.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys a variety of activities, including tennis, skiing, cycling by the lake, yoga, and the arts, such as music and film. She also supports charitable initiatives through the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and other religious charities.

A meaningful part of her life is her role as a mother of two, and she is proud to have been practicing dentistry for over 31 years.
